UCi WGR Red Welding Gauntlets - Pack of 10

This is the traditional red welding gauntlet, made in the UCi WGR from split leather no thinner than 1.2mm. Inside, the hand has a soft fleecy lining and the cuff is lined in polycotton, so it stays comfortable through long spells of use. Partial welting along the seams and fingertips helps keep sparks, spatter, abrasion and excess heat stress away from the stitching.

• Two-part lining: Fleecy lining in the glove area and polycotton in the cuff, for insulation and comfort.
• Welted seams: Partial welting at seams and fingertips protects the stitching and aids durability.
• Cuff finish: A self-hemmed cuff prevents fraying and edge breakdown and feels better on the forearm.

General welding work calling for a Type A gauntlet under EN 12477. Compare the EN 407 and EN 388 scores with your risk assessment.
