The WL1 is a single leg webbing lanyard with a shock absorber and a connector for each end of the system. A CAB1 screwgate carabiner attaches to the user's EN361 harness and a SCAF1 scaffold hook goes to the anchoring point. The shock absorber is intended to reduce the force on the user if a fall happens. It must be used as part of a fall arrest system.
