The Rock Fall RF860 Terrain ESD Safety Boot is a heavy duty, high performance safety boot engineered for extreme industrial and offshore environments where durability, protection and reliability are non negotiable. Designed to withstand punishing conditions, this boot combines advanced safety technology with long lasting construction for demanding work applications.

Built with a dual bonded outsole that is both cemented and stitched, the RF860 Terrain delivers exceptional longevity and resistance to separation under extreme wear. An integrated nitrile rubber scuff cap reinforces the toe area, protecting against abrasion and significantly extending the lifespan of the boot in high impact environments.

Safety is delivered through a lightweight fibreglass toe cap providing impact protection up to 200 joules, combined with a penetration resistant protective midsole developed by Activ-Step® Footwear Components. This provides robust underfoot protection while maintaining flexibility and comfort during long shifts.

The waterproof yet highly breathable microporous construction prevents water ingress while allowing heat and moisture vapour to escape, keeping feet dry and comfortable throughout the working day. ESD protection safely dissipates static electricity, making this boot suitable for explosive or electronics sensitive environments such as offshore oil and gas, utilities and heavy engineering.

Comfort and sustainability are also prioritised, with an Activ-Step® bio based insole made from natural rubber for superior shock absorption, supported by a recycled polyester sock liner. Leather sourced from Leather Working Group audited tanneries and recycled internal components reinforce Rock Fall’s commitment to responsible manufacturing.
