Puma Safety Epic Black Low S3S ESD FO HRO SR Safety Trainers

This is the safety version of the Epic: a metal-free S3S trainer with a composite fibreglass toe cap, made for hospitality and food-service settings that need impact protection as well as slip resistance. The ballistic nylon upper is built to last and stands up to detergents, animal fat and acid.

Key features

• Fibreglass toe cap: Composite toe protection keeps the whole shoe free of metal.
• Slip, heat and oil ratings: The Grippaz traction outsole in a specially formulated rubber compound is SR rated, heat resistant and resistant to fuel and oil.
• ESD: Rated ESD for workplaces that specify it.
• Heel cushioning: An idCell element in the heel gives soft, shock-absorbing support.
• Interior comfort: BreathActive lining keeps the foot climate pleasant and the Evercushion Max footbed helps on long days.

Typical uses

Kitchens, catering and similar hospitality work where both a protective toe cap and slip resistance are required. The supplier also points to industry and craft use.
