Puma Safety Airtwist Blue Low S3 ESD HRO SRC Safety Trainers

Puma Safety Airtwist Blue Low S3 ESD HRO SRC Safety Trainers

The blue Airtwist is a low-cut S3 safety shoe that borrows its shape from cult trainers. It sits in the Urban Effect range, which brings sports-shoe technology into safety footwear, most notably a cushioned Effect.Foam sole construction and lightweight FAPlite underfoot protection.

Key features

• Cushioned sole unit: Effect.Foam is used for damping and energy return, quoted by the manufacturer as 70% above standard.
• Lightweight underfoot protection: The FAPlite penetration-resistant layer is ultra light and flexes with the foot.
• Toe protection: A composite toe cap is fitted.
• Ratings: S3 with SRC slip resistance and HRO, plus an ESD rating.
• Lining and insole: BreathActive functional lining with an Evercushion Custom Fit insole.

Typical uses

A fit for workplaces that ask for S3 ESD footwear but where staff want something closer to an everyday trainer. Check the ratings against your own risk assessment.
