The Portwest EV402 EV4 Hi-Vis Expedition Trouser is engineered for extreme cold and wet conditions, offering outstanding warmth, mobility and visibility for demanding outdoor work. Built with dynamic stretch waterproof fabric and premium Insulatex™ Pro thermal fill, these trousers provide high-loft insulation without unnecessary bulk, ensuring comfort and performance in harsh winter environments.

Designed for movement, the EV402 includes built-in articulation, stretch crotch gusset, adjustable waist tabs and elasticated ankle gussets, allowing workers to bend, climb and kneel without restriction. The trousers are EN 342 certified to -40°C, making them suitable for severe cold, highway maintenance, rail, utilities, construction and winter industrial tasks.

For weather defence, the EV402 features taped seams, waterproof zips and an inner snow gusset at the hem to seal out snow and water. Zipped knee ventilation panels, mesh airflow channels and laser-cut vent holes help regulate body temperature during high-activity work.

Reinforced with CorePro Armour at key wear points, the trousers offer increased durability in kneeling and abrasive environments. Six secure pockets, a hammer loop and D-ring provide practical on-site storage, while heat-applied segmented reflective tape ensures lightweight, flexible visibility.
