The Portwest EV401 EV4 Hi-Vis Expedition Parka Jacket is a high-performance cold-weather parka built for extreme conditions, combining premium waterproof protection, advanced insulation and full hi-visibility compliance for demanding outdoor work. Designed with mechanical stretch fabric, a down-like Insulatex™ Pro fill and a long ergonomic fit, it delivers exceptional warmth, comfort and mobility in harsh winter environments.

Constructed using Portwest Extreme waterproof and breathable fabric, the EV401 achieves EN 343 Class 4:1 X with a 20,000mm waterproof membrane, fully taped seams and a double storm flap to block out rain, wind and snow. The jacket is also EN 342 certified for protection down to -50°C, making it ideal for rail, highways, construction, utilities and any outdoor sector requiring reliable thermal performance.

The parka includes a snow skirt, internal storm cuffs and a dropped back hem for full weather defence. The helmet-compatible “Vision” hood features clear side panels for improved peripheral sight, while internal braces allow the jacket to be worn open without losing convenience or comfort.

With multiple waterproof pockets, handwarmer pockets, internal storage and easy-grip pullers, the EV401 is built for practical use in cold, wet and low-light conditions. Heat-applied segmented reflective tape ensures flexible, lightweight visibility without restricting movement.
