The Portwest DX448 DX4 Hi-Vis Rain Trouser is a high-performance waterproof trouser designed for workers who need durability, mobility and reliable visibility in wet outdoor conditions. Made from Portwest Extreme 150D stretch fabric with a PU membrane, it provides strong all-weather protection with EN 343 Class 4:3 waterproof and breathable performance, supported by a PFAS free Texpel Splash Eco water resistant finish.

These trousers are built for active movement and include mechanical stretch, a side elastic waist and easy access side zip leg openings suitable for wearing over work boots. Fully taped seams and waterproof zips prevent water ingress and maintain comfort during long shifts in harsh UK weather.

With nine practical pockets including zipped side pockets, a thigh pocket, a zipped thigh pocket, double rule pocket, hammer loop and two back pockets, the DX448 is ideal for tools, accessories and everyday essentials. Lightweight HiVisTex Pro segmented reflective tape provides visibility while allowing flexibility during movement.

Bottom loading knee pad pockets make it simple to insert pads for kneeling tasks. Wider belt loops and contrast panels enhance durability. Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 1 in size 28 and Class 2 from size 30 upwards, and compliant with RIS 3279 TOM in the orange version from size 30, the DX448 is suitable for construction, rail, civils, utilities and general wet weather work.
