UCi WGR-16 Red Extra Long Welding Gauntlets 16 Inch - Pack of 10

At 16 inches in total length, the UCi WGR-16 extends the traditional red welding gauntlet to give more protection to the lower arm. It is made from leather with a minimum thickness of 1.2mm. The hand has a soft fleecy lining and the cuff a polycotton lining, and the seams and fingertips are partly welted to protect the stitching from sparks, spatter, abrasion and excess heat stress.

Typical uses

Welding where a longer gauntlet is wanted to cover more of the forearm, to Type A under EN 12477. Selection should follow your risk assessment.
