Puma Safety Airtwist Black Low S3 ESD HRO SRC Safety Trainers

Puma Safety Airtwist Black Low S3 ESD HRO SRC Safety Trainers

Part of Puma Safety's Urban Effect line, the Airtwist takes its looks from classic street trainers and adds S3 protection underneath. The sole unit uses Effect.Foam, which the manufacturer says gives energy return 70% above standard, and the penetration-resistant midsole is the ultra-light FAPlite type.

Key features

• Effect.Foam sole: The foam sole construction is designed for cushioning and energy return.
• FAPlite midsole: Flexible, ultra-light penetration protection sits under the foot.
• Composite toe cap: Toe protection is provided by a composite cap.
• ESD, SRC and HRO: Rated ESD, with SRC slip resistance and an HRO marking on the outsole.
• Custom Fit insole: An Evercushion Custom Fit insole and BreathActive functional lining look after comfort.

Typical uses

Day-to-day work where S3 footwear with ESD properties is specified and a trainer-style shoe is preferred. Final selection should follow the site's risk assessment.
