The Rock Fall RF880 Exploration Rigger Safety Boot is a heavy duty, high performance safety boot engineered for extreme industrial environments where durability, protection and reliability are essential. Built with a dual bonded outsole that is both cemented and stitched, the RF880 offers exceptional longevity and resistance to delamination. A moulded nitrile rubber scuff cap protects the toe area from abrasion and impact damage, significantly extending the working life of the boot in high wear environments.

Waterproof yet highly breathable microporous construction prevents water ingress while allowing heat and moisture vapour to escape, keeping feet dry and comfortable throughout long shifts. The fibreglass safety toe cap provides protection against impacts up to 200 joules without adding unnecessary weight, while the Activ-Step® penetration resistant midsole delivers underfoot protection against sharp objects without compromising flexibility.

ESD protection safely dissipates static electricity, reducing the risk of sparks in flammable or explosive atmospheres and protecting sensitive electronic equipment. This makes the RF880 particularly well suited to offshore platforms, refineries and hazardous industrial sites.

Comfort and sustainability are also key considerations. The Activ-Step® bio-based footbed, made using natural rubber and recycled materials, delivers excellent shock absorption and underfoot support.
